LED's are gaining popularity and gradually replacing older illuminationtechnologies. Unlike fluorescent or neon tubes, which have a 360°angle of dispersion, LEDs typically have a much narrower angle of40°-140° and under traditional lighting covers (opals and diffusers)appear as tiny spots of light. This undesirable phenomenon isreferred as "hot spots".

Our PMMA UGR Diffuser feature high light transmission,uniform light diffusion and high “hot spot” dispersal power. PMMA sheets enable sign makers and designers to enjoy the benefitsof LEDs and create elegant solutions that are cost effective and ecoefficient,while enhancing intensity and colour. PMMA Diffuser Sheet are free ofplasticiser, heavy metals, halogens and fire retardants. They can be machined and heat processed like standard acrylic sheets andcomply fully with ISO 7823-1 standards.
